On behalf of the editorial board team of the journal and the publication system E-Discovery Publication Incorporation, We are pleased to announce the launch of Journal of Medical Discovery (JMD), a new international journal with interests in medical research.
Journal of Medical Discovery (JMD) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal. It aims to to be a high-profile platform for publishing outstanding research and review articles in all areas of medical researches, from basic, translational to clinical studies. Case reports, commentaries and other types of articles falling into the fields are also be considered for publication.
E-Discovery Publication Inc. (EDP), the publisher of JMD, is a publication group established in the United States. It publishes online papers only, with JMD as the first launched journal. All types of articles released by EDP are freely accessed online upon published early online. The published works are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License and allows articles to be distributed by the authors, as long as the works are correctly cited.
JMD provides a platform for exchanging information among researchers in the medical-scientific field and sub-specialties, including but not limited to biomedical science, cancer biology, pharmacology, nursing, biochemistry, molecular biology, stem cell, epigenetics, bioinformatics and clinical researches. The journal publishes papers with broad readership, including but not limited to Basic life-Science Researchers, Oncologists and Oncology Specialists, Hematologists, Gynecologists, Urologists, Gastroenterologists, Endocrinologists, Pulmonologists, and Otolaryngologists, Dentists, Dermatologists, Ophthalmist, Radiologists, Anesthesiologists, Nurses, Epidemiologists, Pathologists, Disease Prevention Researchers and other medical specialists.

Various of diseases were discovered in the past years based on the contribution of basic and clinical researchers. However, most of the diseases are still hard to be treated. Cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neuron system diseases, diabetes and other kinds of diseases cost a lot of lives and economic expenses. As the clinical treatments are based on the clear mechanism of diseases, we are ought to combine these areas. We will publishes researches in basic, translational and clinical fields to make efforts in linking these works, finally leading to an improvement of therapeutic efficiency.
